Orsoya Darchi's 2023 Tulum collection debuted alongside luxury bridal gowns and evening dresses Launched in 2021, Dinner and Robes has become a true tradition for fashion designer Orsolya Darcsi and her husband, who hosted their third annual haute couture fashion show with gastronomic experiences. The Mexican-inspired show had no shortage of vibrant lights, Mexican flavours and sultry tailoring lines, which the latest Tulum collection is also rich in. The show also featured the most beautiful luxury bridal gowns and gowns from the brand's own collection.Orsoya Darchi's exclusive fashion show Dinner and Robes III, subtitled Five Senses, took place on 22 June, where we got a closer look at the designer's collection this year, the sultry and sensual Tulum pieces, alongside the brand's luxury bridal and evening gowns.The Dinner and Robes show was launched in 2021, albeit then as a wing-banging show to entertain a small circle of friends. It has been a success, with the third show held in the shady grove this year. The inspiration for this event was a trip to Mexico in 2022: "I was so moved by the atmosphere of the place, by the deep spirituality of organic existence that pervades everything, that my husband and I decided to bring the experience back with us. I dreamed the clothes, he dreamed the Tulum show." - Orsolya said after the show. 45 exciting and sensual creations on the catwalk At the event, we were able to admire the dresses in three acts, to the rhythm of which we tasted the flavours of Mexico wrapped in a fine dining robe by chef Adam Thür. In the first section, natural light filtering through the trees of the grove accompanied the models of the Real Women show. In this stage, customers who prefer to wear Orsolya's haute couture quality dresses in real life were able to step onto the catwalk.This was followed by a showcase of bespoke luxury bridal gowns and evening dresses, where delicate lace, luminous silks, exciting cut lines and details that sometimes left the body free put femininity on a pedestal. All set against the backdrop of the sunset lights and the instrumental accompaniment of Tulum DJ.The 2023 collection, named Tulum, was presented at dusk, with extravagant light and visual effects to close the show. Inspired by nudity, the collection was awash with open details and surfaces that left the skin exposed, making the garments, composed of natural materials and organic shapes, suggestive and artistic. A LITTLE INFORMATION ABOUT ORSOYA DARCHI Orsolya Darcsi, founder and designer of the Orsoya Darchi brand, has been living in the world of individually tailored, handmade clothes since she was 12 years old, and her love of tailoring and sewing runs in her family, as she puts it: it's in her genes, this kind of creativity and self-expression. Although Orsolya was born in Transcarpathia, her studies eventually brought her to the Hungarian capital. She started to learn sewing on her own in 2012, and then acquired the necessary basics at the Budapest Fashion School, where she studied fashion design. She launched her own brand in 2015, then with gowns and lingerie made from high quality materials, which later expanded to include a casual and wedding dress line. The luxury brand is based in Hajdúszoboszló, which this year hosted the third edition of the now traditional Dinner and Robes fashion show.
