Orsolya Darcsi is the founder and creative designer of the brand. She was born in Munkács, a small town in the Transcarpathian region, on the territory of present-day Ukraine, where she spent her childhood growing up in a nearby village. This region was separated from Hungary, its motherland, following the Treaty of Trianon after World War I.

Orsolya's deep connection to her Hungarian roots is a result of her background as part of the Hungarian community in Transcarpathia. This community represents one of the 'forced minorities' formed due to the Treaty of Trianon. For over eight decades, these communities have been connected to Czechoslovakia (now Czech Republic and Slovakia), the former Soviet Union, and Ukraine. Despite these political affiliations, their familial ties, cultural-linguistic connections, and ethnic identity strongly bind them to Hungary. At the time of separation, approximately 200,000 Hungarians lived in this area, making it one of the largest Hungarian communities outside Hungary. According to the most recent census, about 150,000 Hungarians still reside there today.

Despite these historical and political challenges, Orsolya's deep connection with the cultural aspects of Hungary, the language, and her background guided her to Hungary, where she completed her studies at a university in Budapest, its capital. This journey underscores her enduring dedication to her heritage, which continues to influence her work and creative vision.

Sewing has been part of Orsolya's life since 2012. She learned it by herself while working full-time. She attended the Budapest Fashion School, where she learned the basics of the sewing profession. With several family members having worked as tailors, she is convinced that her admiration for special materials and sewing is engraved in her larger purpose.

Every day serves as a continuous and unique source of inspiration for Orsolya. Visual impressions of designs and materials touch her with such strong intensity that they create a constant desire to be creative, design something new, and deviate from the usual.
