Orsoya Darchi's secret haute couture garden Anyone who would be sceptical about the exclusivity of a fashion show in Hajduszoboszlo has probably never been to a show by the Orsoya Darchi brand, even though this year marks the fourth edition of the all-arts fashion experience, dubbed Dinner & Robes. The world of the event, which captivated all the senses, conjured up a fusion of the ancient and the modern. The theme of this year's event was naturally based around the brand's latest signature collection, Atmosphere. From Hajdúszoboszló to Paris to New York The fourth show in the brand's life is not only a milestone on the domestic stage, but also the first step in the international stage. On the night of the event, the news was confirmed that Orsoya Darchi had been given a place in a luxury store in New York and Paris. The brand has thus taken the first step towards success abroad.It is an exceptional experience when a brand opens up its inner world to its fans, both literally and figuratively. When we arrive at the show, we find ourselves in the very soul of Orsoya Darchi's universe, where we suddenly don't know whether we are in Hajdúszoboszlóló or in the Mediterranean garden of a cool club in Mykonos or Ibiza. Every detail of the location, the music, the scents, the visuals, spoke of the authentic vision of the brand, dreamed up with profound artistic freedom and creative sophistication, which we were able to enjoy for one night with over 300 guests. A collection to please the eye and the palate The setting for the evening, the grove of ancient trees surrounding the Orsoya Darchi Ateliere, the lights decorating the trees, the breath-taking fabrics hanging like giant veils several metres long, the music masterfully blending ancient and modern atmospheres, were simply a way of setting the mood for the experience unfolding around us. In addition to the setting, the Atmosphere collection's stylistic cues were already apparent before the show, with dancers popping up unexpectedly at various points in the grove and artists dressed in mirrored costumes. After all this - but before the main attraction - the flavours were on show.We tasted the first two items of the Atmosphere collection, a version of the Atmosphere collection dreamed up by Ákos Sárközi. The experience of these fantastic delicacies paved the way for the first part of the main course, the presentation of the wedding and evening dresses. The 30-minute show featured pieces from Orsoya Darchi's classic line 2025.Forty-two beautifully composed haute couture gowns were admired on the models. This was followed by the highlight of the evening, the Atmosphere collection. Thirteen futuristic ensembles were on show, with headpieces and footwear specially created for the occasion by Virág Kerényi. Orsoya Darchi: love child of the past and the future The brand's new collection is conceived around the narrative of an exciting combination of the ancient and the modern. It connects the viewer with the land, nature, the past and tradition.The designer's new collection was characterised by a variety of natural materials, traditional basics, natural and attractive colours. However, the pattern lines and the design language were created along the lines of high-tech visuality. The opposing worlds of the basic notes thus created a world that evoked the atmosphere of science fiction, transporting the participants to a perhaps not so distant future of humanity. Orsoya Darchi's new collection sought to be a response to the possible self-definition of modern man, brought to life through the power of creativity. The breathtaking and all-senses-engaging presentation was closed by a liberated Atmosphere DJ party.As for us, we can't wait for next year's show!
