Salon Budapest reports on the fashion show of ORSOYA DARCHI - Dinner and Robes II. The social event, far from Budapest's reach, could have taken place anywhere in the world. Why did it remind me of Provence? The harmony of colours, shapes and flavours created a dazzling sensation in the mind, as if we had travelled not a few hundred but a thousand kilometres. Leaving the tourist-filled downtown of the spa complex behind us, we arrived at the last family house on Liget Street. Orsolya Darcsi and her husband have created a magical place here that not only provides a cosy, safe home for their young daughters, but can also be opened up as an inspiring community space for discerning, knowledgeable eyes. With their own hands - they have designed the space in harmony with nature. While the high quality of luxury design is on display, there is a strong sense that the people who live here also respect the wildlife in their environment. This harmony was carried through to every little detail of the event, where, alongside sophisticated music, the audience was treated to a bar of quality drinks, gourmet pastries and fine dining experiences. Originally from Mukachevo in Transcarpathia, Orsolya studied in Hungary and then worked in the capital. Missing the hustle and bustle of Budapest, they started working in Hajdúszoboszló to create a sophisticated social event experience themselves. Sewing has been in her life since 2012. He became known for his casual, high-quality silk gowns, which he used with astonishing ingenuity to tap into a market need with great potential.Over the last ten years, I myself have searched countless times for discreet yet showy silk and lace pieces reminiscent of Hollywood movie heroines of the 1950s, which can be worn not only in the intimacy of the boudoir, but also in front of the cameras working on the big screen. Orsolya didn't stop at robes. Responding to local demand, she expanded the palette with casual and bridal gowns. She orders her high quality fabrics from abroad, mainly from Israel. Her inspiration, along with carefully selected, rare and special materials, is the line of the female body. The highlight of the event - organised at their home was, of course, the fashion show. The characterful way the models moved the audience from one amazement to the next. An interesting feature of the evening was the fine dining dinner served by the IKON restaurant in Debrecen, which filled the breaks between the costume presentations in a very catchy way. I would make this system a compulsory scenario for fashion events, as the experiences that appeal to our different senses complement each other so well.As we progressed through the evening, not only the collections, but also the increasingly magical lights of the place revealed themselves to us. Not only did the dresses and the garden lights glow, but so did the faces of a satisfied and well-kept audience. The stars of the catwalk were Orsolya's little girls, who paraded the unique catwalk of the Liget as the most authentic wearers of their mother's casual outfits. The evening didn't end after the finale. With cake and other cold desserts, we had the choice of getting close to the dresses or going to the exclusive space of the design showroom built in the intimacy of the magical park forest. The models mingled with the audience wearing Orsolya's dresses, while we followed one after the other to feel the selected fabrics with our own hands in the intimacy of the atelier built by Orsolya's husband. The couple invested a huge amount of energy not only in the design of the space and the selection of quality suppliers, but also in entertaining and educating us all. In an evening planned with the utmost care, you could feel the energy of two people's love, supporting each other and inspiring us all to create more.
